About Me

Hey! I'm Bekah and my last name is hard to spell. If you and I were meeting in person, I would tell you to pronounce it like “Dee-Feliz Navidad.” ​​

Over my sixteen year writing career, I have worked in technical, academic, marketing, and non-profit fields.  I've ghostwritten for C-suite executives, served federal clients in the defense sector, published a book, and helped billion-dollar organizations formalize their brand voice and messaging. Most recently, I've led communications and storytelling strategy for a Forbes "Top Ten" global nonprofit.  I've traveled around the world training photojournalists and interviewing leaders on community efforts to release children from poverty.

Content development, strategic planning, corporate communications, and copyediting are all in my wheelhouse, though I also have a passion for making Zoom calls more human by entering funny comments in the chat.​​
